At Crimson Guitars we relish a challenge and sometimes building a stripped back, lightweight version of a design behemoth like the Warwick Streamer and Thumb basses (the Thumb itself is a copy of an earlier design for Spector by Ned Steinberger factoid fans). We built the design around the multi-laminate mahogany through neck and mahogany body, the best mahoganies are lightweight and the perfect tone wood, combined with hand wound pickups created specifically for this bass we have a versatile passive system that really delivers the goods. The watchword with this design though is ergonomics, an all access neck carve and the 3d body carves create a supremely playable completely hand made bass.
