As all of you have no doubt noticed over the last few days there has been some serious dissruption to the staus quo.. the short story is that yet again I’ve been seriously let down by a web designer who couldn’t deliver when he said he would.. the upshot is that coupled with my own concentration on other business matters, the original site died as had been organised months ago.. I have spent the last three days learning how to build websites on my own. .anyway, the first benefit is that I now am pretty confidant I can build and maintain a great website without having to bring in third parties, and there is a seperate but tangential developement..

Those of you who saw the last few diary updates (now lost in a backup file somewhere.. for now.. fingers crossed) saw a new custom spray booth being built.  Currently housed in that booth is a wonderful chap named Aki who will be doing all the finishing for Crimson Guitars from now on.. from oils etc through to two pack and nitro lacquers etc.  The end result is that I will be able to concentrate solely on building guitars (and the odd website it seems) while the very time consuming finishing is performed by less busy hands..

Anyway, I am 17 hours into a computer session and need to continue rebuilding the site.. the final product should be ready by the end of the week.. minus the archived diary files of course.  Wish me luck.
